Before I bought this I seen a lot of bloggers and youtubers using it on their tutorials. A lot of them were saying that it reduced the visibility of pores and given that I have quite large pores myself, I wanted to give it a try.
The shade above is fair but I think you can get it in medium and dark as well. It retails for £34 and especially for the size of it, that is quite expensive.
On Charlotte Tilbury’s website, it claims to blur away lines and imperfections. The Rose wax and almond oil helps to hydrate the skin and has a full coverage finish.
The packaging is gorgeous and comes in the signature rose gold packaging that Charlotte Tilbury is known for. It comes with a compact mirror and there’s something quite timeless and nostalgic about it. It reminds me of my mums old compact press powders that she would use. It is great for just keeping in your handbag and using it if you need a top up throughout the day.
When using the powder, I didn’t notice much difference in my skins hydration but it definitely blurred out my pores, leaving a light but still full coverage and matte finish to the skin. I didn’t feel like I had to keep topping it up. Once it was applied, it generall stayed on all night.
To conclude, do I think it is worth the hype? Absolutely. I have been looking for something that would minimise the look of my pores and this does exactly that. My only negative feedback is that you don’t get a lot for your money. For £34 I would expect there to be more powder so use sparingly and maybe only keep it for special occasions.
Thanks again for reading my blog. Have a great weekend.
