Okay, so I’m eight days late for a July favourites post but it has been a few months since I posted about my favourite products so I wanted to share them with you.
I have been buying a lot of make up for my kit recently and I have included a few of the items in this post but I can do a separate post on recent make up purchases. Just let me know if you would like to read about my latest make up splurge.
Anyway, let’s get straight to my favourite beauty products…
I have spoken about this lipstick in a previous review on Charlotte Tilbury products but recently, I have been wearing this non stop. It is such a pretty neutral colour and if you haven’t noticed, I love my neutral colours. It smells amazing and has a beautiful creamy texture to it so it feels like my lips are hydrated throughout the day as well. I wore this to a wedding recently but I have also been wearing it during the day. I can’t get enough of it!
I mention this concealer in a lot of my make up looks as it is my go to concealer. After spending years wearing a drug store concealer, this was a huge improvment. The consistency is thick enough to cover just about any blemish. I use the lightest shade as it is great for contouring and it has staying power that lasts all day long. As you can see, I have used quite a bit of it already.
If you are young with amazing, wrinkle free skin then you probably don’t need to buy this. This is eye cream, perfect if you are getting to an age when you need to start thinking about these types of products. I have oily skin and what I like about this product, is the fact that it doesnt make me break out in spots but still has a nice creamy texture to it. I have sensitive eyes and I will admit that the first time I used it, I applied too much causing the cream to get into my eyes which irritated them. Since then, I have been applying very little amounts and my eyes look a lot brighter.
I got this cream from a sample that I received at an event. It is meant to be used as a day cream but I have been applying it on dry patches of skin on my face. It has worked a dream at combatting the dry patches and it smells so good!
So I mistakenly bought this from MAC thinking it was a highlighter. Turns out it is a shaping powder but I am so glad I bought it as it actually amazing to apply under the eyes. It is so smooth that it never looks cakey and doesn’t separate like most powders tend to do when applied under the eyes. Not only that, but there’s a slight shimmer so it looks like a subtle highlight on the cheek bones. This one beats all of the other products in my July favourites!
I hope you enjoyed reading about my recent favourite products. Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe 🙂
